Questions and Answers for Sellers

1. WHEN CAN I BRING MY EQUIPMENT TO THE AUCTION SITE?
Please bring your equipment one day prior to the sale between noon and 6 P.M. Other times may be arranged if necessary by calling 913-636-1655. We reserve the right to refuse any non-working games.
2. WHAT IS THE COST OF SELLING MY EQUIPMENT?
Our commission is 10% of the selling price with a maximum commission of $100 per game (example: $450 selling price = $45, a $1400 selling price = $100 commission). We have a $10 entry fee per game, however, the entry fee will be waived if you bring 25 or more pieces.
3. MAY I SET A MINIMUM OR RESERVE PRICE?
Yes, there is a $10 buyback fee (in addition to the entry fee) for any game that does not reach the minimum or reserve price.
4. HOW QUICKLY CAN I BE PAID?
United Amusement will mail out checks no later than 3 business days after the auction. If you wish to wait until after the auction, we can issue a check approximately 3 hours after the end of the auction.
5. WHO ARE THE BUYERS?
Homeowners, dealers, collectors, and the general public.
6. WHY SHOULD I USE YOUR AUCTION SERVICE?
We have been doing game auctions in the Kansas City area for over 20 years. Over that time we have established a large mailing list of people looking for all kinds of gaming equipment. We are not a huge company that comes to Kansas City once or twice a year and then leaves. We are locally owned and operated and here daily to answer any questions you might have.
